Profile of Prof S K Soni

I retired as Prof (Multiple Media) from National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research, Bhopal, MP, India in Nov 2003 after serving 23 years. Before this job I served as Lecturer in Mechanical Engg in Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal from 1966 to 1976.

The loveliest Projects excuted by me during MANIT was creation of Prod Engg Lab and during NITTR was related to the creation of a professional TV Studio and completing global bid Project of developing Multiple Media Training Packages for Indian Cement Industry and India Railways consisting of Textual Training Manuals, Slides, Transparencies, Magnetic cut outs, Video Programs & Multi-media Packages etc.

I guided four Professors for completing their Ph D theses.

Since 2007, I served as consultant to many Engg Colleges of Bhopal & other Places and helped them in Faculty / Technical Staff development, preparing & institutionalizing Curriculum implementation strategies, ISO 9001 2000 Certification and developing self-corrective Performance Quality Monitoring & Improvement systems.

I have now transformed me in to a freelance consultant eager to share all his complex expertise & experience in improving the productivity of Professional Education System of SAARC countries by travelling and other countries by this website.

Planning for Curriculum Implementation: Tactical Planning, Strategic Course Planning, Specfic Session Planning, Preparing Course Files, Preparation & use of Media Resources- OHP transparencies, Power Point Presentations, Question Papers, and Assignments etc Teaching

Learning Processes: Processes related to learning in Class rooms, Laboratories, Project Work, Industrial Visits / training and co-curricular & extra curricular activities.

Human Resources Development: Training of Faculty & technical Staff, Faculty/ staff Appraisal based upon students’ feedback & university results, personality & employability development of faculty & senior students etc.

Institutional Reforms & Miscellaneous: Delegation of powers with accountability, Improving efficiencies of Administrative and Managerial processes, Developing MIS for rational decision making by the institutes, Creation of Conducive climate for encouraging Research & Development.
